my plan is to fill an lgv (traveler van) with my worldly possessions and do a 1 way trip to canada. I may fly over and pick the van up on its arrival. does anybody know if this is possible, how to go about it, and how much its likely to cost? the other option is to sell everything in the uk and buy new ones when I arrive in canada but that seems much more hassle and much less fun. how much are they going to tax me on importing goods (books & musical instruments) & a vehicle?
