I'm new to this ... forums  ... so please forgive any errors I may make

The idea of frieghter travel has been in my mind for a very long time.
I think that this might be the best way to make the transisition from our present life in New Zealand to our new life 'back home' in Canada

I gather we can get to NY or Savannah or even Philadelphia (map required    Wink ) but does anyone know if we can get all the way down the St Lawrence seaway?

Can we go west via India / south Africa  or is the best way east about?

I am planning towards July August.

No problem going east or west - although eastabout will be a shorter and therefore cheaper journey.

You should be able to find a voyage in either direction that calls at Montreal or Quebec - but you would obviously have more choices if you are happy to depart at an east coast US port instead.

An agent will be happy to advise on available routes.
