US To Australia?

Anyone know if there is any ship going from any US port to anyplace in Australia? I may be moving there for work in the next year and would rather take my time rather than flying. I've been looking online and very few of the freighter booking companies mention anything from US to Australia and several of the sites that do seem to be way out of date! I live in Texas so I can access either East Coast or West Coast ports fairly easily.
Thanks much!

Plenty of ships to Australia/NZ - leaving from East, West or Gulf coast USA
Have you actually contacted 1-2 of the major freighter travel agents to ask what is available - or have you just looked at their website?
Sometimes, they don't publish details of all the voyages that are available on their website.

CMA CGM have a service from Europe which goes to Australia via the States and Panama. I travellel it from London to Melbourne a couple of years ago. US ports of call were New York and Savannah. One of my shipmates joined the ship at Savanah and was with me to Melbourne then he did the return journey about 6 weeks later.
