MACS Freighter Cruises

The only long-distance traditional freighter voyage currently available is a passenger service between Northern Europe and South Africa offered by MACS Shipping. You can travel one-way or book an 85 day round trip.

If you are travelling from Europe to South Africa, you can embark in Rotterdam, Hamburg or Antwerp. If you are travelling from South Africa to Europe, you can embark in Cape Town or Durban.

The only accommodation onboard is the 2 bedroom owner's suite.
